Arrested Development

If you don’t watch the show Arrested Development, you’re missing out. Here’s an article on the show, the piece appears in the current issue of Time Magazine.

It might be the funniest show on network TV since Seinfeld. The second season begins next Sunday, 8:30 p.m. on Fox.

Here’s a link to the piece:

Al Pieda

Sometimes it is really painful to be a liberal. This past Thursday Ann Coulter was giving a speech at the University of Arizona. William Zachary Wolff and Phillip Edgar Smith decided to run up on stage and throw pies at her. When I heard the news I thought to myself "now that's funny," but the two kids missed her. A clip was shown on CNN and the two guys missed her completely, they weren't even close.

What a shame, another missed opportunity.

New Rule

New Rule

You don’t need to cross U.S. soil for a flu shot.

I saw on CNN.com today that people are crossing U.S. boarders for Flu shots.

Now am I wrong, but how many people die of the flu a year? Don’t we use enough drugs as a nation on a whole?

Over 11 millions kids are on some form of anti-depressant drugs. That’s a scary number. Guess what, when I was growing up and I was depressed, what drugs did I take for depression, uh, none! At 15 you were SOL and guess what you were depressed.

Kids should feel things, good and bad. All we do now is numb them, and they have become like zombies in the Night of the Living Dead movies.

When did American become so addicted to things, and when did we all become sheep. Someone says, oh, you have to get a flu shot and everyone runs out to get one. Please.

Maureen Dowd

For those who don't know who Maureen Dowd is, this article appears in the current issue of Rolling Stone.

Bill O'Reilly

I have to admit, and maybe I'm a terrible person for wanting this, but I hope he's found guilty in his sexual harassment case.

O'Reilly is nothing but a self righteous, bully, and with his ego it leads me to believe he's more than capable of committing this crime.

Maybe he should go on Bill Maher or Chris Matthews to discuss his innocence.

Maybe Anne Coulter will be accused of sexual harassment of some former boy intern as well.

That would be great.

Poll Question

Just throwing this out there, would you say most New Yorkers would know who Maureen Dowd is?

I'm just curious about this one. Ask around, ask your friends, let me know what the results are.

Italian Dressing

I'm a huge Bill Maher fan, so in honor of him I have my own "New Rule" of the day.

New Rule

You should not wear clothing that exudes every single stereotype regarding the way Italians dress, especially not at a wedding. Mind you, I have an Italian father, and he would never dress in the manner that I'm going to describe. As if the silk shirt, wife beater, and chest hair in full eyes length wasn't bad enough, the pinky ring was a nice added touch. He also fell asleep before the wedding ceremony began.

Is it really so hard to wear a suit and tie, or a jacket and tie?

Dress Code

I went to a friend's wedding this past weekend, and my fears have come true. No one dresses up for any events anymore. People came to the church service in jeans and sneakers I couldn't believe it. My friend Sam suggested possibly having a bouncer at the church door, that was probably a good suggestion.

Jets

Well the Jets survived and got another win on Sunday against the Bills. Sam's friend Mel had a chance to watch her team get dominated in the first half, claw they way back to take the lead, only to lose the game in the last minute.

It's good to be 4-0.
