High School Party Mom

So a mother in Arvada, Colorado was recently arrested for serving booze the high school boys. (If only I knew mothers like that when I was in high school). Now it gets better. She not only bought and served them alcohol, she bought them drugs, and engaged in sexual activities with the boys.

She gave two great statements to the cops.

When asked if she engaged in a threesome with two of the boys, she responded by saying “she didn’t remember because she was a little bit tipsy from drinking.”

When asked why she held these parties, Johnson, who is unemployed, told cops that she was "never popular with classmates in high school," and the house parties--which ran for a year--left her "feeling like one of the group."

People never cease to amaze me. He’s a link to the smoking gun web site with the arrested report.

Da Ali G Show

If you haven’t seen this show, you’re missing out.

Sacha Baron Cohen was up to his old antics last week, when he almost stared a riot at a rodeo in Virginia.

Here’s a link to the story – http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,144083,00.html

Borat busted out to the crowd these word – "I hope you kill every man, woman and child in Iraq, down to the lizards," the man told the audience. His butchered rendition of the national anthem ended with the words "your home in the grave."

Comedy at his finest.

Between Da Ali G Show, Arrested Development, Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Chapelle Show, TV comedy does live on.

Career Opportunities

And I’m talking about the movie with Jennifer Connelly and Frank Whaley, the one when they got locked in a Target store.

This article cracks me up. At Janet Lathrop Stanford Middle School in Palo Alto, Calif., they had career day. This is when the speaker told the students that they could earn a good living as strip dancers.

You just can’t make this stuff up.

Story of My Life

So I finished reading Jay McInerney’s (Bright Lights Big City) book Story of My Life. It’s about a harden 21 year-old aspiring actor. What impressed me most about the book is the fact that the main character is a female – Alison.

McInerney does an incredible job of speaking and conveying emotions through a female’s perspective. I almost wish more girls were like Alison, when it comes to speaking the truth.

One passage I love, “…I insist on honesty. You should be able to tell me whatever you’re feeling. If you think Didi has a better body than me you should say so. I can take it.”
